A Boubird Nanny...

This is my second year working as a Boubird Nanny. Last Winter I worked with some incredible families and had a fantastic time making their children's holiday Fantastic. I am excited to return this year, and I have brought my sister to work alongside me with Boubird. 

I mostly work with the babies and young infants because I adore this age. I have extensive experience working as a deputy lead in the baby room of a nursery in Cheltenham. I have worked here since leaving school at 18. Although I am continuing to work towards my teaching career in formal education. I currently hold a Level 3 diploma in the Children's workforce. What I enjoy most about caring for the babies, is the structure of their routine. I like to nurture children by preparing healthy meals, comforting and settling them for a good sleep, and getting outside for some fun and fresh air. I think I am naturally maternal this way. 

I enjoy creating sensory activities, building with bricks and small world toys. When going outside, it's great to put children in their wellies and overalls, running around and exploring nature. Even if that means getting a little muddy, or snowy!

With the big kids I am the go-to for Arts and Crafts. Dinosaurs, Squishies, Robots, Space or Princesses, not matter the children's interest, I can make a fun creative activity with them. I am happy to take big kids swimming and can set up a ball game.
