Hello, my name is Felicity and I am from Herefordshire. This is my first season in Tignes and I am very excited to be working with children in this unique setting. As a child, I attended ski holidays with my family and I have so many fond memories, it's an honour to create similar memories for the children in my care.

I began working with children in a professional role in South Africa, working in a nursery where many of the children were from low-income families. This job was extremely rewarding on many levels, but ultimately taught me that I thrive in a childcare setting. So when I got back to England, I began working in another nursery, learning about the EYFS and all things child development, achieving my diploma. The ages I worked with are the 2-3 year olds. It requires a lot of energy and it's delightful to see the children's personalities form at this age. I have a paediatrics first aid certificate and safeguarding children CPD certificate.

Before this, I worked as a nanny for a family during the school holidays, whilst I was studying for my A Levels. The children were 2 & 5 years old when I started, and I cared for them over the course of two years. I am confident being a sole carer of children this age, and I love taking them for fun days out. I understand the importance of children connecting with the natural world, getting lots of vitamin D from the sun, and developing imaginations.

One of my favourite activities to do with children is baking. I attended the Orchards cookery course, where I also gained a food safety certificate, so I know lots of delicious recipes for lunches and sweet treats. This is my go-to white-out activity.
