Hello, my name is Hannah and I am from Australia. This is my third season working in Tignes as a Boubird nanny. I am also studying for a degree in Early Education. One day I hope to become a teacher for young children.

 

As part of my school/work placements, I have cared  for children with multiple disabilities. The ages of the children ranged from 3 years to teenagers. I found this job to be very rewarding and interesting to learn about. 

 

I began my first season taking care of our Boubird mascot, Catissa's son when he was just 3 months old. I gradually began taking on more bookings with families visiting the resort on holiday. I now enjoy working with children of all ages, but I must admit, the babies have my heart! I think what I like most about caring for babies, aside from the cuddles, is building relationships with parents. As I emphasis a break for parents is so important to their own well-being, parallels with  the difficult feelings of leaving their baby. And so I hope to ease any anxiety and ensure every baby is kept safe, warm, well-fed and sleeping well.

 

With children, my favourite activities include painting and making play dough, making stories come alive with puppets. I like making treasure baskets for babies and getting outside for walks and exploring the resort.
