I am 21 years old and in my last year at Stellenbosch University studying a Bachelor of Education specialising in Foundation Stage Education. I have acquired my childcare experience au pairing for three families in the past three years 2021-2023. I have also gained educational experience on placement in nursery schools and schools. In total, I have experience with small babies and children up to the age of 11 years old.
My responsibilites as an au pair include dropping and picking the children up from school, doing their home-work with school age children. With the younger children my main responsibilites are settling them for their nap time, cleaning them and ensuring they are comfotable, playing and supporting their development with games. I cook dinner and bath the children before bed time.
I am a friendly and social person and I am looking forward to working with new families. I am passionate about childcare and believe in the power of education. Skiing has always been a hobby of mine and I think I will share the enjoyment of being in the snow with the children I care for.

This letter serves to confirm that Ms Jade was my Au Pair from Feb 2022 till first week of December 2022 looking after my 3 kids aged 13, 10 and 4. Her duties included, but not limited to, fetching my children from home to school and collectiong them from school to home in the afternoon. She was also required to do homework for my 10 year old son and keep my 4 year old busy with developmental activities, as per the school's weekly programme. Jade would often go beyond and above her work duties and was always willing to go the extra mile for us as a family. Ms Jade was a pleasure to work with and we'll miss her dearly. She was reliable, friendly and a good planner. Enthusiastic at all times which demonstrated her love for her job, we all adored her! Her work was a professional and amazing ad evident by my son's school report. She is also a humble young lady with a positive attitude and loves working with scholars.
